For the sitting room (Photo 1), Matthew chose a shantung paint finish, white painted floor boards and an antique Kilim rug. He also installed a 19th century marble chimney piece. To maximise the area in the kitchen, Matthew increased the width by adding a side return and a timber conservatory beyond. (Photos 2 and 3) The roof of the conservatory is all glazed letting in maximum light levels. Matthew designed the kitchen alongside Crabtree Kitchens. He used a white Kashmire granite top, English oak flooring and a 19th Century dining table. The master bedroom (Photo 4), has been decorated in a drag wallpaper and Matthew has sourced an English 19th Century Chaise Longue for the bay window. In the master bathroom (Photo 5) Matthew has used a bamboo floor with Knowles and Christou hand made wall paper, giving the room a classic contemporary feel.
